The August page features stamps from Sierra Leone, Djibouti and Guinea Bissau that probably no collector will include in their collections.

In addition, there are many stamps whose motifs do not match the stamp countries; e.g., what do Guyana, Benin, Niger, etc., have in common with the sinking of the Titanic? Or Bhutan, Paraguay, the Congo, and Ghana have to do with Columbus.

Even if they were well-designed stamps, unfortunately, they often fall under the term “quick and dirty.” To bring them onto the current market quickly and not thoroughly designed in order to profit. Added to this are the multitude of individual stamps these days. There can be very different reasons for this; Either someone is missing the motif in their collection or they want to make money with it for a variety of reasons.

In the future, only well-designed and appropriate sea motifs will be shown here.
